wonder, was the bet on whether they were being monitored, or whether phil would come if they went to the roof?
Who would he bet against that they arn’t being monitored, can’t think off anyone including death who would think they aren’t. My bet on what was bet on is they questioned would someone threatening/arresting him, or someone worried about him.

Curses just feels like life losing the bet to aster as to what the reaction would be or something similar
