Phil’s just tired of being doubted no matter what proof he gives.

“Lovely rocks you got up ‘ere, squire. Imagine if you didn’t pay the 𝙞𝙣𝙨𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 on them? Why, just about anybody could wander up and—Oh. Oh no. Sorry about that, squire. Surely you can see that paying insurance on all these 𝙧𝙤𝙘𝙠𝙨 would prevent more 𝙗𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙠𝙖𝙜𝙚?”

lol
On one hand the officer cares and is worried, on the other hand its very unnecessary and belittling.
In the officers defense he has seen the monters and has a idea what they can do, but he really has no way to know what the human monster can do. His idea of the strongest humans is a heavly armored and armed spec ops squad, not nerdy boy with fancy rock stick. Hell he knows about magic, which likely he would see that as well armed but Phill doesn’t even have that. It makes sense that he would underestimate Phill.
Phil will *not* gravel unnecessarily before officers.
Phil does seem boulder than he used to be.
He has been developing his foundation, and this was a miner disagreement.
He’s got that stony look down pat.
Puntastic! Much appreciated, all of you!
I’m mortary happy.
Not to rock the boat but I simply must wonder it these puns should continue is such a quickly crumbling conversation.
Delightful low-key flex. I get the officers doubts, but I also get where Phil would be tired of them.
Phil needs an impressive hat, with his name and job title on it. Possibly with Orichalcum piping. People would argue with him less.
Philip Brown!
Goblin Thumper!
“Phil. I’m staff. ”
No, wait, …
Hmm. Maybe even have a small flame off of the top, just to really draw attention to it. 😉

Phil speaks softly and carries a big stick… that weighs several tons.
Did you intend for the staff to be slightly bent in the frame where it’s hitting the rock?
