Been suspecting that being the case. Wonder if it’ll ever come up in the story?
Too bad filler comics aren’t canon. Otherwise Phil could use power armor or rocket boots. Being entirely unable to use magic in a world filled with magic when you’ve fantasized about being a wizard would suck so much.
I had that idea for a dnd character. A Fighter that wished to use magic, but was unable, so he became a fighter instead
Some filler can be canon- I just won’t explain which ones are or are not and why. The magic thing though is correct, it’s just currently very hard to convince Phil’s magic that strapping magic rockets to his limbs or putting him in a magically powered “iron maiden” is harmless or helpful XD
Good thing Phil doesn’t have a severe fear of androids, or he’d become the one-touch Cybernetic Grim Reaper.
niiiiiiiiiiiiice
Curse you, video games! I was too distracted to read webcomics over the last week or so, and failed to see this glorious sight until only now!
