So- Teleportation doesn’t really have much of a delay- but going somewhere else to start up a spell and hide it with another faster one takes a second, Emi isn’t stupid- she’s impulsive, not stupid. Neither is Yuki, who is incredibly adaptable and has a ton of experience.

So where are they fighting exactly? The vertical clearance seems to be really large. Is this one of the apartement corridors or maybe a utility tunnel or the entrance hall of the building? When will the android girls on security duty show up?
Mi-mi-MIKURU BEAAAM
The imagery is very supportive of the story.
And speaking of imagery, I’m glad Sage didn’t refer to Yuki as “flexible”! 😛
That’s certainly an interesting application of spells and shows that Emi’s development over “hit it with a stupidly large blast because I don’t like it” that she seemed to default to when she got annoyed. At lease if her reaction to getting bopped by a beach ball and then have someone stop her from obliterating it is anything to go by.
Also this is a very interesting use of foxfire as a construct instead of just an aura or projectile like I’ve seen it in most other depictions. I’m curious if that’s a standard ability of Kitsune in the setting or if it’s a trained skill Yuki developed/learned.
Did Emi just Power break the spirit foxes? 🎱
HA, nice
5 imaginary bucks that the kitsune was an illusion from the moment she costume changed.
Yuki seems to be enjoying herself. It’s unlikely the residents on the plane of Order have many chances to cut-lose.
