So some news – My area totally avoid any issues with the storm. Bad news though is regardless of the storm my fridge died and much food died with it. RIP Food.

It’s sensible to keep a small portable generator and at least one days worth of fuel for it around. Batteries with inverter need to be really beefy to run a fridge for that long. That said, winter is coming so keeping things chilled not so much of an issue for a few months?
It isn’t even Fall yet. Portable Generator won’t fix a broken fridge, generators aren’t cheap even if that was a problem.
RIP Fridge, we knew you so… little… Only Sage knew you well. xD
