“Waiver” should be “waver” (no “i”). “Waiver” is a noun, not a verb, and it isn’t even close in meaning to “waver”.
Served for 60 years. Let’s assume trained from very young, but he still wouldn’t be given I role till he got to a decent level of skill. Let’s say early teens. That would put him at 70 easily maybe even 80. Hm you know I was starting to be really impressed but then realized. My dad is over 70 and shows his age even less. Though not quite as buff he actually is kind of close.
Of course magic tends to skew a lot of things. Especially when working for the Magi. They may have magical means to slow the aging process. But yeah, some people are still monsters physically even when they’re getting on in the years.

“I have served as the protector and servant of the magi” – Given that the Magi are divided into two factions whom does he protect and serve if their interests collide through? (Like it will inevitably will happen during this or possibly their next encounter.) Would he just stay out of it, or take sides with Life/Death?
