In a world with actual catgirls (and foxgirls, and others we don’t see as much) it would actually be very inclusive to add them.
Also, a typo in the third panel, Nami says catigirl instead of catgirl.

what about the Tabaxi? they have a bit more fur, but are pretty much catgirls(and boys)

Well, the homebrewed half-Tabaxi race would probably work as a catgirl.
If you’re gonna homebrew just go with full on Nekomimi races. No reason to do half-tabaxi or half catfolk etc etc
