Like many others, Emi has a low opinion of Phil’s intelligence. She, like many others, fail to see that he has a sharp mind behind his goofy facade.
Not to be blunted about Phil’s intelligence, but it can do only so much as seen here. On the upside, it is Emi that looks goofy!
Some people tend to take a bit of pride in being underestimated; the look of shock on detractors can be just plain hilarious. I think Phil is starting to become one those people. 🙂
