Also as Phil stated, he doesn’t consider himself to be a romantic partner for Michelle or whoever else Kate might bring in.
Additionally, even if Kate specifically only adds partners that would also consider Phil as much a romantic partner as they do Kate he would likely not figure it out unless explicitly told that Kate’s harem is equally his harem, and even then would likely need to be told by each new member. Though it is also possible that there won’t be further additions to the relationship.
I mean, there are FAR worse ways to handle it than laying everything in the open.
