“Judge your opponent not on how they fight but how and who they protect”
I just realized what Emi and Yuki are wearing is very similar to what Kaylin (from the AI comic) is wearing which gave hints we might see Nya and Relm in it at some point too. Is the whole cast going to be wearing it at some point?
Well that explains why we didn’t have anyone freaking out too badly during their fight even though they started it right on top of a pair of onlookers. Lien probably evaluated that they weren’t going to cause any more damage to the apartments than Phil did during his training.
That actually makes me wonder if those holes were ever properly patched or if they kept them around out of amusement or a sense of giving the base some character. They didn’t really lead anywhere too sensitive and did prove useful in the past.
No surprizes there. Yuki is, of course, the titular winner.
Oops. Perhaps the surprise was that I misspelled that.
this is so sweet
-nod nod- But now I have Question about her ancestors.
If they were anything like her cousin I think that states it all.
As I recall there was some mention either just when she was first defeated by Phill, or the get to know your element arc.
That’s a really nice barrier. Miyo and Rieko look good in a moon motif. I kinda want to put a witch’s hat on Rieko.
Minor typo fix: “Her’s might take a bit longer” -> Hers
This post-fight tenderness is nice; pity that the unconscious Emi doesn’t get to see it. Maybe her magic is still awake enough to share it later.
