I confess, I’m sincerely disapointed that the wedding went off without a hitch.
Although I also think it would be sort of funny if everybody was confused how nothing went wrong the entire day and it turned out that the would-be attackers had been taken out by a third party (monsters, outsiders, that rogue government agency, cultists, etc).
That is the kind of thing that’d make for great comedy. It would also let the story move forward quicker since any issue with mommy dearest would be a distraction (unless Phil has something unexpected in store for us). That said, there are some of us who’d love to see mother dearest soundly defeated by any of the people around him. Of course for absolute humor, can you imagine what Yuki would do? I mean, interrupting a wedding for any reason would quite likely not set well with her!
Do you know just how many ninja’s have been invited to this wedding? Not to mention the fact that the robot girls not actually at the wedding are 100% watching Kate’s mother & the other known potential saboteurs associated with her.
I honestly wouldn’t be at all surprised if Kate’s Mother was picked up by a “Taxi Driver” who took them to the wrong end of the city that morning, as a peaceful way to ensure that she didn’t interrupt the wedding itself.
I bet she is purring so happily right now.

Considering the effort and huge expense put into it, it’s rather certain she’s using the actual dress — but what if the dress is used indirectly, safely in a protected closet, with a matching amulet to Kate’s which casts the illusion of that source dress on the wearer of the receiving amulet? Kate could actually be wearing form-fitting fire resistant kevlar…
Dont think she’d risk any magical items around phil since he is the null to anything and everything magic, so i’d imagine its a actual wedding dress since she she’s kissing and being embraced by phil so everthing would be in fact nullified.
She’s likely saving “Phil will magically disappear my dress” to when they get home.
It feels like we waited an eternity for this.
