We’ll take a short break from the happy times to see what else has been going on.

Blue looking like she’s gonna cry is adorable/hilarious; also why isn’t a panel with Kate’s dad in here?
It’s ridiculously cute.
Yeah, and what about Toyoko? Serena? Jade? Lia? Emi? Hugo? Shiden? The twins? Anna? Lien? Stephanie? Rieko? Shisou? Naoko? Kalahan? … My point is I couldn’t include everyone without spending a ton of time doing a huge picture of everyone at the wedding. So I selected some for this part for lot’s of little reasons. For some it’s because they didn’t get much before the wedding started, some are representing the arcs of the comic, and demoness is there to show off that she’s actually happily overwhelmed by all the emotions of everyone present. She might prefer some emotional states but a bunch of people wholesomely coming together to love and support two of their best friends is probably not the most common all you can eat buffet she gets to partake in.
For once Demoness’s whoracious appetite looks cute.
Blue is cute too, of course. But Demoness is the larger surprise (to me) – well done!.
I did read through your list of reasons, though my initial assumption was that it is merely a list of some of the characters closest to both Phil & Kate right now. So please understand that the following paragraph isn’t intended to critique or annoy, though I hope that is clear in my wording choice.
I do suspect, however, that masterofinfinity was more referring to the fact that the page isn’t showing any of the two’s biological family members that we know are there, despite what we’re led to expect in wedding scenes. The parents reactions at the wedding are typically in points of major focus, usually either the first or last guests we see images of, of which we only know for certain that Kate’s Father is at the wedding. The fact that the page ends with “we’re going to be focusing on what is happening with Kate’s Mother over the next couple of pages” is irrelevant to this expectation.
“How do we get such a carefree day of celebration?”
Why, we keep the drama far away from the ceremony. Let’s take a peak, shall we?
Time to see friends and allies run interference against the jackasses? If so that is a really fun way to present it.
Agreed, I’m hoping that is the case.
Great expressions all around. I especially like panel two with Blue and Nami’s reactions.
Blue and Demoness behave – no words.
Looks like Demoness has been getting some delicious mixed emotional drinks.
decoy ceremony with holograms? and some of the more security focused girls
Hey something I just thought about: are Life & Death guests here at the wedding? Think attending something important like this would be a good way to help adjust them to a more normal life.
They specifically aren’t at the wedding itself, but are invited to the reception. Less boring for the actual kids 😛
OK, thanks Sage
